Como Shambhala Estate

Geometry and Architecture Combined in Florida
Architect Juan Carlos Ricardes in collaboration
with Jay Hedahl completed an intriguing house design in Florida, which
impresses due to its unique exterior. A massive white concrete volume with an
original geometry, unexpected entrances and asymmetrically placed windows
invites guest to contemplate further. The facade of the house is truly
mesmerizing and includes the main house entrance, the pathway to the
garage, a glimpse of the balcony located at the top floor. Large windows ensure
a good indoor outdoor connection and reduce the need for artificial lighting
during the day. We invite you to a fun virtual tour of this incredible house,
at the end of which we would love your reactions.

Creative Bookshelves

select, beautifully bound classics will always take pride of place in the homes
of those who love to read but cannot afford to sacrifice space to a personal
library. The majority of images to follow demonstrate the same space-sensitive
principle by wall-mounting shelves so not to encroach on a limited floor area.
The choice of materials varies from the organic to the industrial, but in
keeping with a modern finish, are linear and lightweight.
Multifunctional Sofa Pil-low by Redesign
Redesign, the Croatian design studio has recently presented its latest work, a multifunctional sofa, called Pil-low. Undoubtably, Pil-low is a sofa that combines three essential aspects of comfort. It wonderfully brings together special attributes, such as the comfort of a pillow, the benefits of an ergonomic seat and the relaxation provided by a bed. With a creative name, that anticipates the various transformation possibilities, Pi-low is the type of item that doesn’t need additional decorative pillows because it already provides “all the comfort in the world”.
